Class Descriptions
Yogilates™:
A great class for people of all levels, learn proper form and essential
exercises from both Pilates and hatha yoga. As created by veteran
yoga instructor and certified Pilates instructor Jonathan Urla, Yogilates
classes start with awareness and release of unnecessary tension,
then teach you to connect deep breathing with your center. Alignment
is always focused on for safety and effectiveness, as is core strength
to create better control and grace of movement. Designed to
give you more rapid and balanced development of the body in an efficient,
flowing and fun workout, routines may include dance and rehabilitative
exercises as well as traditional yoga postures to give you a
stronger and longer body, with increased range of motion, coordination,
and balance. Ending traditionally with guided meditation and healing
thoughtfulness helps the practitioner to achieve physical and spiritual
peace.
Pilates Mat: This
is the classic matwork of Joseph Pilates refined for all levels.
Famous for flattening the abs and developing core strength, Pilates
mat also improves posture, alignment, and focus. It is therapeutic
for the back and joints and will tone and firm the body without the

Plates Synergy Flow: A cardio
workout plus high-intensity Pilates floor and standing exercises
utilizing weights and resistance tubing! This new class from Yogilates
creator Jonathan Urla, covers it all by incorporating free weights,
as well as other props, for a major fat burning, body strengthening,
super sculpting workout. Moreover, by integrating core stability
with dynamic plyometric moves, the Synergy
Flow standing exercises train your whole body in more skillful movement to improve coordination,
balance, and agility. A fun, advanced workout perfect for athletes
and serious Pilates devotees.
No prior Pilates
or yoga experience is necessary for these classes.
